Double-Hand Poker Rules

Let's learn a distinct sort of poker other than hold'em, five card stud, 5 card draw and Omaha Holdem. Yes, pai gow poker. Now you have to be wondering that pai-gow sounds a bit Chinese; yes you're proper this game is a blend of the Chinese casino game pai-gow and our very own American poker. Surely this isn't one of the most well-known styles of poker but still it is widely wagered. It may be played by up to 7 players.

It is wagered with one deck of fifty-two cards, including a joker. Oddly enough, the joker may be used only as an ace, to finish a straight, a flush, a straight flush, or a royal flush. The crucial element here to keep in mind is aside from the normal rating of hands we have 1 more succeeding hand that is "Five Aces" (five aces including the joker). Remarkably, five aces beat all other hands including royal flush.

Each and every gambler is dealt seven cards. The cards are organized to form two hands; a two card hand and a five card hand. The five card hand must rank greater or be equal to the two card hand. Finally each of your hands have to rank higher than each of your competitors hands (both five and 2 card hands). Further the 2 card hand can just have two permutations; one pair and high card.

After the cards are organized in to two hands, they are positioned on the table face down. Once you lay them down, you may not touch them. The dealer will flip over their cards and make his hands. Each gamblers hand is compared to the dealer's hands. If the gambler is victorious on 1 hand and manages to lose the other, this is identified as "push" and no money is won or lost. If dealer wins both hands then he/she captures the players wager and the other way round. Now what if there is a tie, the only benefit with the croupier here is he/she wins all ties.

Following the hand is wagered, the next person clock-wise becomes the croupier and the next hand is played. The main downside to this game is that there is no talent involved and you rely too much on fortune. Also the odds are poor in comparison to betting with a pot.
